The healthcheck

To make sure that your business has proper employee procedures and documentation in place. If our enquiries show that you are missing some essential documentation then we will provide you with that documentation.

If you don't have the proper documentation in place then we will supply it:

The insurance

To ensure that you and your business are properly protected we have arranged insurance practice dispute insurance (scope and terms subject to terms and conditions of the policy) for a single fixed annual premium payable by monthly instalments. This insurance provides indemnity for professional fees incurred by you in defending a claim brought in the employment tribunal by an employee or ex-employee and indemnity for any awards of compensation which are granted. Cover is provided up to a maximum of £100,000 for any claim and £1,000,000 in the aggregate for any one period of insurance (usually 12 months) renewable thereafter. Andrew & Co will handle the claim on your behalf.

Insurance to cover against employment practice violation claims including:

  • Unfair dismissal
  • Libel, slander, humiliation
  • Invasion of privacy
  • Wrongful demotion
  • Failure to furnish accurate job references
  • Wrongful failure to employ or promote
  • Racial, sexual or disability harassment
