Lincoln 10k Race
An intrepid group of Andrew and Co ‘s employees is set to run the annual Lincoln 10k race on 3rd April in aid of the firm’s chosen charity of the year, Alzheimer’s Society.
Out of a group of 5 of us, only one has ever before entered a competitive race event. Inexperience has not dampened our enthusiasm, and although a couple of the original members of our team have had to drop out due to “injury worries” the remaining team members are determined to run, walk or limp across the finishing line, whatever it takes.
The annual race takes in some of uphill Lincoln’s most picturesque and historic sights, finishing in the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
The team is proud to be raising money for Alzheimer’s Society, a very worthwhile charity which provides invaluable support to sufferers of this debilitating condition and their carers.
