Appointment
Andrew & Co are pleased to announce the appointment of Julia Lock, who has joined our Commercial Team as an Associate. The Team and the Firm are delighted to welcome Julia, and would like to take this opportunity to wish her well in her new role.
Julia began her journey in Law by first Graduating with a degree in Politics with English from Loughborough University, before gaining a post graduate diploma in Law from Birmingham University, which was followed by the Legal Practise Course at the College of Law in York.
Julia has acted for a wide range of clients on a variety of high value strategic land assembly and residential development projects whilst working for a specialist development and planning practice in the East Midlands. This included the drafting and negotiation of conditional contracts, option agreements, overage arrangements, leases and planning agreements together with the setting up of business parks and residential estates.
Recently Julia has acted on a range of agricultural matters including several multi-party renewable energy schemes.
Julia has also acted on a range of general company commercial and corporate matters including the acquisition and disposal of restaurant businesses and licensed premises.
When away from the working environment, Julia, who lives in Newark with her family, enjoys reading, travelling and cooking.
Legal Cashier Role
We are looking to recruit a full time Legal Cashier to cover credit control and other desk duties. Legal experience is preferred although non legal accounts and credit control experience will be considered.
Our opening hours are 9-5.15 with an hour for lunch.
The firm runs a pension scheme that contributes 5% of your annual salary, as well as an option for employees to join Westfield Health Care at level 2 which can cover dental and optician costs.
The firm has an annual target related bonus.
