Residential Landlords and Tenants

Andrew & Co has a specialist team which regularly acts on behalf of Landlords, Lettings Agents, Resident Social Landlords, Charitable Organisations and Tenants. Housing law can be very complex and our team works hard to understand the needs of the client and to offer practical solutions.

The scope of our services includes:
•    Review of tenancy agreements
•    Preparation and service of notices
•    Advice about rent arrears
•    Tenancy deposit disputes
•    Possession proceedings and enforcement
•    Disrepair
•    Anti-social behaviour

The Team is regularly instructed by Landlords and Tenants to review tenancy agreements and other relevant paperwork and provide initial advice to either party.

We are frequently instructed by Landlords to provide advice and assistance to prepare Notices seeking Possession of their property. The Team assists from the point of preparing the Notice seeking Possession, right through to the final Possession Hearing at Court. There are  different routes to obtain a Possession Order and our Team will advise on the most appropriate and cost effective way forward.

If a Tenant fails to vacate the property following a Possession Order, we also provide advice and assistance on enforcing your order for possession.

Landlord and Tenant is a complex area of Law and we encourage advice to be sought at an early stage of the process to avoid the potential pitfalls and delays.

The Team operate under a fixed fee scheme for standard possession claims. To find out more information, speak to a member of our dispute resolution team in Lincoln or Newark, by contacting us directly on 01522 781497 or email info@andrew-solicitors.co.uk
