Charity Donation for Pink Ribbon Programme
On Thursday (24th July 2014) Karen Armitage from our commercial property team, who is also clerk to the Frederick Andrew Convalescent Trust (FACT) board of trustees, will be presenting a cheque to the Lincoln Breast Unit’s Pink Ribbon Programme.
A cheque for £3,640 will be handed over to Lincoln County Hospital’s Macmillan breast care nurse specialists, who set up the programme for women suffering and recovering from breast cancer, at David Lloyd Lincoln.
FACT will make a similar donation every year for the next three years to ensure that the Pink Ribbon Programme, which is a specially devised series of 12 Pilates sessions, can run free of charge.
FACT was established in 1916 following the death of Frederick Andrew, one of the founding partners of Andrew & Co.
The charity offers financial support to women who are working or have retired and need help to recover following an illness or injury.
