I started my career, first as a secretary and then as a Personal Assistant, ultimately qualifying as a Legal Executive in 2004.
Joining Andrew & Co in October 2005, I have established a good working relationship with clients. This has been gained largely through my previous 20 years experience of working in the field of personal injury law. I specialise in personal injury claims and handle a caseload comprising a mixture of employers’ liability, road traffic, occupational disease and slipping/tripping accidents. I also assist Michael Pace, the Head of the Personal Injury and Motor Law Team with elements of the more complex claims.
I qualified by studying part time at college, and by correspondence course with ILEX whilst continuing practical work in a law firm which has given me a wealth of "hands on" experience in dealing with the situations that can arise within a personal injury claim and I derive as much satisfaction from seeing a good outcome for the client in terms of emotional well-being and improved rehabilitation as well as achieving the best compensation that it is reasonable to obtain for the client. I am a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, qualifying in 2002, and also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
